If you’re an EU citizen, all you need is an employment contract – which we’ll arrange for you. If you’re from outside the EU, you need a residence permit, which our coordinators will help you apply for.

You’ll get a standard Danish employment contract with union-level pay and the same working conditions as permanent staff. The first contract is temporary, but it can be extended.

After you get a CPR number and a tax card – which we apply for on your behalf. Until then, you’ll receive weekly advances. Once the tax card is registered, you’ll receive a full salary minus the advances.

Wages in Denmark are stated as gross amounts, so we can’t say exactly what you’ll receive after tax. Your final pay depends on your personal tax situation. The tax rate is determined by the Danish tax authority. During the recruitment process, you’ll receive a pay simulation showing your approximate net pay every 14 days.

Yes. In addition to your salary, you earn 12.5% in holiday pay. Also, 5% of your salary is saved for payment on public holidays and time off. The recruitment coordinator will review your pay simulation with you during the process.

  • EU citizens: direct transfer to your foreign bank account.

Our coordinators apply for both your CPR number and health card (also called the “Yellow Card”) on your behalf. This gives you access to the Danish healthcare system.

Yes. We help with transport to Denmark and from your Danish accommodation to the workplace. If you don’t have a car, we have good arrangements with car rental companies. We can also help you with public transport or rental of a bicycle/e-scooter, etc.

It depends on the job. If there’s no fixed rotation, the first home visit is usually after 6–8 weeks unless agreed otherwise. Some jobs have scheduled rotations with regular time off. Other companies have holiday periods with natural breaks. It depends on the job.

No, it’s not required. It’s a big advantage to speak English, but for some jobs it’s not needed – as long as you do your best to communicate constructively with your colleagues.

It depends on the position. Some jobs don’t require English, but it’s helpful if at least one team member can speak it.

Yes, overtime may occur, but we can’t guarantee a specific number of hours.

You usually get your own room or a shared double room with internet access. You’ll need to bring your own bedding and towels. Everything will be reviewed with you by your coordinator before you start.

Yes. All employees are covered by insurance from the first working day. It’s also possible to include your family. If you’re from outside the EU, you must arrange your own full insurance coverage.

It depends on the job and contract. All necessary work equipment is provided. If you need to bring safety shoes or similar, our coordinators will inform you.

Most companies have both Danish and international employees.

Yes. If your stay in Denmark is under 185 days, you can use a foreign-registered car. If you use your own car, you may be entitled to mileage reimbursement in some cases.
For longer stays, you must apply for permission from the Danish tax authority (SKAT). You’ll need to submit your application, contract, registration certificate, and pay a fee of 400 DKK.

You must report sick leave by phone using the emergency number listed in your contract. The line is open 24/7. You must call at least 1 hour before your scheduled shift. Only phone calls are accepted – SMS, emails, or other forms of messages are not valid.
